Who runs Angus MacRae Golf?

The site, the books and the membership all run under the name Angus MacRae Golf. Letters to business@golfangus.com reach me.

Will you ever sell my information?

No. I don't sell personal information, and I don't rent it out. And it's never shared for advertising.

What do you learn when I simply visit?

No account. No sign-up form. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no Google or Facebook trackers, no analytics scripts.

Cloudflare hosts the site and processes your IP address. That's how it delivers the pages and protects them.

What's recorded when I use a link from a video?

The time. Which video or link. Which page it sent you to. Your country.

Add to that a scrambled code, built from your IP address. The address is never stored; the code can't be turned back into it. This shows which videos help.

A single small cookie lasts 30 days. Its one job is to remember which version of the book page you saw, so it stays the same. It's the only cookie this site sets. The checkout belongs to Hotmart, and its cookies fall under Hotmart's policy.

What do you get from Hotmart when I buy a book?

Hotmart collects name, email, billing and payment details. Card numbers are never shown to me.

I'm told your email, what you bought, the price, your country, and which video or link you came from.

For book orders I keep the email scrambled, not as it is.

What do you keep about members?

From Hotmart: name, email, country, time zone, membership status and dates, and the video or link you came from. It's kept to send the letters.

Letters report back if they were delivered and which links in them were clicked.

What if I leave the checkout half way?

Left half way, or the payment failed? Either way, your name and email may come to me from Hotmart.

I may send up to two reminder emails. A click will stop them. If you've bought already, I won't send them.

Do you keep what I write to you?

The message and your email, so I can answer. The full raw email copy is deleted after 90 days.

The text is kept so the conversation can carry on.

Is AI involved in answering me?

An AI writing assistant may help draft replies, so letters get answered sooner. Your message is used for that only.

What's it all used for?

Delivering books and letters. Answering questions. Processing refunds. Learning which videos help.

And telling you about other books from this channel, with an unsubscribe link in every email.

Who else helps run things?

Hotmart: payments, book delivery, membership billing. Resend: sends the emails. Cloudflare: hosts the site, stores the data, receives email sent to me.

Each has its own privacy policy.

How long do you keep my details?

Membership data: while you're a member, and until you ask me to delete it.

Unsubscribed addresses: only a scrambled “do not email” note, so they're never emailed again.

Order records: as long as the law requires.

What can I ask you to do with my data?

Stop the emails with the one-click unsubscribe link, or reply “unsubscribe”.

See, correct or delete your data: write to business@golfangus.com. Answer within 30 days. That's for anyone in the US, California included.

Purchase records stay with Hotmart, kept as the law requires.

What about children under 13?

Books and membership alike are for adults. No data is knowingly collected from children under 13.

How do changes to this page work?

The page gets updated, and so does the “Last updated” date.
