Rules of the links

Terms of Use

Like the local rules pinned up in the starter's hut: short, and worth a read before you tee off.

Angus MacRae

Before every round I tell my player the local rules. Here are the ones for my books and my membership. Slow down and read them once.

What the starter would tell you

Who am I agreeing to these terms with?

Angus MacRae Golf, the brand of this site, its books and its membership. My address is business@golfangus.com.

What do I receive when I buy a book?

A digital book, a PDF. You can buy them one by one or the 3-book collection. Nothing comes by post.

Hotmart emails the link. Your books stay at consumer.hotmart.com; sign in with your purchase email.

The licence is for personal use. Read it and print it for yourself. Don't share, resell, upload or copy it for other people.

Who processes my payment?

Hotmart does, on a secure checkout page. At checkout, Hotmart is the seller of record.

Card, PayPal or Apple Pay. The price is the one on the checkout. Hotmart's own terms and privacy policy apply there.

What am I signing up for with the membership?

The letters come by email: a weekly page with one rule for the course, and more. You can reply with a question.

First come 7 free days. From then on, it's charged monthly until you cancel.

Cancel at consumer.hotmart.com, or write and I'll help. Cancelling won't refund the months gone by.

Does my health come into it?

It does. Golf is exercise, even just walking the links. Check with your doctor before any new exercise, and stop the moment anything hurts.

What I give you is general instruction, not medical advice.

Will these rules lower my score?

They might, but results vary. Every golfer is different. I can't promise you strokes or yards.

Is that really the old caddie in the pictures?

Those images of me are illustrations.

May I copy the cards for my golf society?

No, I'm afraid. The books, letters, text and pictures belong to Angus MacRae Golf. They're yours to use, but only for yourself.

If something goes wrong, what are you responsible for?

So far as the law permits, I'm not liable for indirect losses. The most I'm responsible for, in total, is what you paid.

Your rights as a consumer under the law remain. These terms don't take them away.

Can these terms be changed?

Yes. Any change goes on this page, along with the new date.

Who answers my questions about these terms?

Send them to business@golfangus.com.
